Nursing BA/BSc (Hons) Top-Up

This course is designed to (Top-Up) a registered nurse qualification (e.g. RGN, RMN, RN, RNMH, RSCN). On successful completion, you will have an honours degree that underlines your advanced clinical expertise and professionalism.

The Structure of the BA/BSc (Hons) Nursing programme allows entry onto the programme for those students who have studied a certificated nurse programme leading to the award Registered Nurse, and for the overseas Registered Nurse who also holds a Licence to Practice.

 

If you’re a registered nurse, this degree offers a practical way to take your career forward, by enabling you to step up to an honours degree while continuing to earn. Its flexible, modular approach is designed to meet the needs of nurses working across a range of settings and specialities, in both the NHS and independent sectors. Study options focus on key areas for contemporary nursing – leadership; ageing and the life course; and public health.

The nursing profession has responded to these changes in healthcare provision and requires each professional nurse to be fit for purpose, fit for practice and fit for academic award by becoming competent knowledgeable practitioners and developing expertise in a given area of clinical practice.

Professional Health Studies BA/BSc (Hons) Top-Up

Health Wellbeing & Social Care BA/BSc (Hons) Top-Up
