With our BSc (Hons) Business and Healthcare Management degree, you'll get the best of both worlds, obtaining an in-depth understanding of business operations as well as the healthcare industry.
Whether you want to work in the public or private healthcare sectors, or start your own business, our Business and Healthcare Management degree will provide you with the necessary knowledge and employable skills. Healthcare managers and administrators are at the heart of the healthcare business, since they are in charge of budgeting, scheduling, and looking for methods to improve patient care.
If you have always been interested in the field of healthcare or business and management, this BSc (Hons) Business and Healthcare Management course is for you. It's never been easier to make your dreams become reality. Our degree provides you with a variety of opportunities to develop the attitudes, abilities, and competencies required to work in a health and social care setting in the UK and abroad.
It also promotes entrepreneurship by providing opportunities to gain the skills needed to analyse complicated modern commercial and healthcare organisations. Business analysis is an important aspect in defining organisational possibilities since it serves as the foundation for negotiating, planning, and executing to achieve organisational goals.
The majority of healthcare managers work in a hospital or outpatient setting. A smaller clinic or physician's office setting may offer healthcare administrators the ability to oversee multiple disciplines, such as marketing, human resources, or budgeting, but a large hospital may offer prospects for promotion into other jobs. Healthcare executives should be aware that advanced degrees and many years of experience are required for executive positions.
With the BSc (Hons) Business and Healthcare Management course you can also work in nursing and residential care homes, where you must maintain relationships with patients and families in addition to the administrative and business obligations that come with running a healthcare institution.
Some graduates of this degree work for insurance firms, while others work for the local, state, or federal government, conducting research, addressing public health concerns, or supervising health care.

Fees & funding
Course fee per year: £9,250 The Tuition Fee of the course may vary depending on the institution you wish to study at, as well as your status in the UK. The course is available for UK/EU & International Students and eligible for Student Loans Company (SLC) funding to help cover the cost of your tuition fees and other expenses. If you are an UK/EU citizen or living in the UK on an Indefinite stay, apart from the tuition fees, you could also receive support from the government via Student Loans Company to cover some living costs while studying. The maintenance loan depends on each individual's circumstances.
Fees breakdown:
Tuition fee loans cover the full cost of your course and are paid directly to the course provider.
Student Finance has to be paid back, however, you only make Student Loan repayments once you've left your course AND are earning enough. Repayments vary with your salary, and stop altogether if your income drops too low.
Maintenance Loan pays for day-to-day living expenses like rent, bills, food and books. Unlike the fees loan, it's paid directly to your student bank account once a term and you can spend it on anything you like.
Students can also apply for other types of special support grants, such as childcare grants or Disabled Students' Allowance if eligible.
Moreover, almost all universities offer a selection of student bursaries. These are cash gifts you usually don't have to repay.
Please submit an enquiry to find out more or use our calculator to estimate how much Maintenance Loan you can get and how much you will have to repay per month once you finish your course. Enter your household income, the university's location and current situation.Calculate your funds
