Innovation is critical for society’s long-term viability. It necessitates an entrepreneurial mentality that is adaptive to continual change, informed by economic, ethical, sociological, and technical factors. This Masters Degree in Enterprise and Innovation aims to develop and launch students’ own business through research-led practice and practice-led research, and it offers an academic pathway through which they can develop their enterprise idea and advance their business proposition in preparation for commercial development or launch.
The course seeks to develop students’ entrepreneurial approaches to their profession by providing them with the research and business skills required to establish and run a firm. It also allows students to pursue research and entrepreneurship interests in the cultural and creative industries, or social enterprise, while also offering an environment in which they may learn from others involved in similar creative activities.
Through research-led practice and practice-led research, students will be able to create and deepen specialised expertise in human-centred design, wellness and inclusive design, human experience, and ethical, sustainable practices.
