Hospitality Management (MA)

Hospitality management is a concept that encompasses various industries, such as food and beverage, accommodation, travel and event management. 

It is a vast industry that oversees the hospitality industry’s administrative, commercial and operational activities. Several departments can be managed in this field, ranging from maintenance and housekeeping to spa services, concierge, reception and much more. 

Hospitality management courses are favourable to entrepreneurs because it offers a rare opportunity to combine practical and theoretical education, known as dual education, it prepares you for entrepreneurial success by analysing essential hard and soft skills.

  • Applicants are required to submit proof of Bachelor Degree Diploma;
  • For candidates with over 5 years of experience in a managerial role, but without an undergraduate degree, the course/module leader will review the application based on the applicant suitability for the course;
  • Applicants who do not have English as their first language will be required to demonstrate an approved level of proficiency in the use of the English language;
  • Applicants must bring their original certificates when coming for registration;

Assessment

Lectures, seminars, group projects, and e-learning are among the teaching methods used. Written exams, case studies, assignments, projects, and reports are all examples of assessment methods.

Self-Funding

The Tuition Fee of the course will vary depending on the institution you wish to study in, as well as your status in the UK. The course is available for UK/EU and International Students. Please contact us to find out the tuition fee for a specific course you’d like to know about.

Government Founds – Student Finance England 

If you are a UK/EU citizen with pre-settled or settled status or living in the UK on Indefinite stay, and you want to apply for a postgraduate course, you can receive support from the government through the Student Loan Company. If you’re starting a master’s degree, you could get a Postgraduate Master’s Loan of up to £11.570 to help with course fees and living costs. You’ll have to start repaying your loan when your income is over a certain amount (the ‘threshold’ amount), but only one year after you finish your course.
