English Proficiency and Admission Process

If English is not your first language, you must complete an English language test that assesses speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. We also accept a range of other English language qualifications.

Applicants will also need to attend an interview with a member of the admissions team.

Course overview

The MSci (Hons) Health & Social Care Management is an integrated Master’s degree that combines undergraduate and postgraduate study into a single four-year programme. Designed for those who aspire to become leaders and change-makers in the health and social care sector, this course blends theory, practical skills, and research to prepare students for management-level roles in a rapidly evolving industry.

Throughout the course, students explore key areas such as health policy, leadership and governance, health promotion, safeguarding, service delivery, and strategic planning. With a strong focus on applied learning, students engage in real-world case studies, placements, and research projects that develop both frontline and managerial competencies.

By completing the MSci, graduates leave with a deeper understanding of the systems that underpin health and social care and are equipped with the analytical, organisational, and leadership skills needed to drive service improvements and respond to complex challenges in public or private care settings.

Fees & funding

Course fee per year: £9.535

The Tuition Fee of the course may vary depending on the institution you wish to study at, as well as your status in the UK. The course is available for UK/EU & International Students and eligible for Student Loans Company (SLC) funding to help cover the cost of your tuition fees and other expenses.

If you are an UK/EU citizen or living in the UK on an Indefinite stay, apart from the tuition fees, you could also receive support from the government via Student Loans Company to cover some living costs while studying.
