Engineering Management (MSc)

Build on your technical foundation while also learning business and management skills, such as project management and quality assurance. Develop the technical knowledge and managerial skills needed to effectively complete multi-million pound projects. Prepare to manage a technical team that delivers on time and within budget.

Students will expand their technical knowledge while also learning business and managerial abilities. These abilities include project management, supply chain management, risk management, and quality improvement. Students will also gain “soft skills” for working with others and leading projects, such as negotiation and teamwork, effective communication, conflict and politics management, and change management.

Moreover, after this course, students will be able to manage a company’s finances and assets, as well as how to manage people and organisations, provide customer service, and use effective teamwork and motivating strategies. In addition, with an eye toward the future, students will investigate the problems that emerging technologies offer to engineering management.

Course Length: 1 year;

  • Applicants are required to submit proof of Bachelor Degree Diploma;
  • For candidates with over 5 years of experience in a managerial role, but without an undergraduate degree, the course/module leader will review the application based on the applicant suitability for the course;
  • Applicants who do not have English as their first language will be required to demonstrate an approved level of proficiency in the use of the English language;
  • Applicants must bring their original certificates when coming for registration;

Assessment

Lectures, seminars, group projects, and e-learning are among the teaching methods used. Written exams, case studies, assignments, projects, and reports are all examples of assessment methods.

Progression

If you want to advance your career even further after finishing your undergraduate degree, you can apply for a postgraduate Master’s program.

Self-Funding

The Tuition Fee of the course will vary depending on the institution you wish to study in, as well as your status in the UK. The course is available for UK/EU and International Students. Please contact us to find out the tuition fee for a specific course you’d like to know about.

Government Founds – Student Finance England 

If you are a UK/EU citizen with pre-settled or settled status or living in the UK on Indefinite stay, and you want to apply for a postgraduate course, you can receive support from the government through the Student Loan Company. If you’re starting a master’s degree, you could get a Postgraduate Master’s Loan of up to £11.570 to help with course fees and living costs. You’ll have to start repaying your loan when your income is over a certain amount (the ‘threshold’ amount), but only one year after you finish your course.
