This course will prepare you to take advantage of many strategic leadership and entrepreneurial opportunities available in the health and social care sectors by providing you with knowledge and understanding of strategic management as well as practical insight into current issues in health and social care organisations.

Health and social care, as the largest sector in the UK, plays a critical role in sustaining the economy by ensuring the population’s physical and emotional well-being. The recent global pandemic has brought attention to the need of health and social care delivery management.

This MBA Health and Social care degree addresses the unique challenges faced by individuals in charge of policy, strategy, and services in their organisations, whether they are in public, private, or non-profit sectors.

You’ll study essential management disciplines in health and social care as a postgraduate student, including business planning and finance, project and operations management, healthcare service improvement, and leadership.

  • Applicants are required to submit proof of Bachelor Degree Diploma;
  • For candidates with over 5 years of experience in a managerial role, but without an undergraduate degree, the course/module leader will review the application based on the applicant suitability for the course;
  • Applicants who do not have English as their first language will be required to demonstrate an approved level of proficiency in the use of the English language;
  • Applicants must bring their original certificates when coming for registration;

Assessment

Lectures, seminars, group projects, and e-learning are among the teaching methods used. Written exams, case studies, assignments, projects, and reports are all examples of assessment methods.

Progression

If you want to advance your career even further after finishing your undergraduate degree, you can apply for a postgraduate Master’s program.

Self-Funding

The Tuition Fee of the course will vary depending on the institution you wish to study in, as well as your status in the UK. The course is available for UK/EU and International Students. Please contact us to find out the tuition fee for a specific course you’d like to know about.

Government Founds – Student Finance England 

If you are a UK/EU citizen with pre-settled or settled status or living in the UK on Indefinite stay, and you want to apply for a postgraduate course, you can receive support from the government through the Student Loan Company. If you’re starting a master’s degree, you could get a Postgraduate Master’s Loan of up to £11.570 to help with course fees and living costs. You’ll have to start repaying your loan when your income is over a certain amount (the ‘threshold’ amount), but only one year after you finish your course.
