Academic Qualifications:

Applicants must provide proof of their highest academic qualification, which can include:

  • Level 3 Qualifications (e.g., A Levels, Level 3 NVQ, diplomas, certificates, or Access to Higher Education Diploma)
  • International Baccalaureate
  • High School Level Qualifications
  • Level 2 Qualifications or equivalent (e.g., GCSEs, Level 2 NVQ, diplomas, certificates)

 

English Proficiency and Admission Process

If English is not your first language, you must complete an English language test that assesses speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. We also accept a range of other English language qualifications.

Applicants will also need to attend an interview with a member of the admissions team.

Course overview

Our BA (Hons) Fashion degree course will provide you with the information and skills you need to excel in the fashion business, as well as the opportunity to participate in interesting work placements. You will investigate the cultural, economic, environmental and sustainable elements that support the fashion industry while learning practical strategies that you may apply in a variety of positions. Drape, fabric manipulation, built textile, pattern cutting, garment manufacturing and trailers are examples of these. During this fashion course, you’ll learn how to promote the concepts you design through drawing and illustration work.

Throughout the BA (Hons) in Fashion degree, you will be encouraged to develop your own fashion identity and to leave a distinct impression on all of the items you design. If you are creative, passionate and ambitious and want to pursue a creative degree in the fashion industry, this is an excellent option.
You’ll gain a complete understanding of research, design and visual communication abilities that reflect current business practice as well as future industry demands through our focused and inspirational program, which includes ‘real’ industry briefs and collaborative projects. You’ll build a network of important business contacts while also learning about the global fashion industry so you can find your place in it as you embark on an exciting career. You’ll discover your own artistic voice while also learning practical and research skills. When you graduate, you’ll be among our exceptional alumni, ready to launch a successful career in fashion design.

Fees & funding

Course fee per year: £9.535

The Tuition Fee of the course may vary depending on the institution you wish to study at, as well as your status in the UK. The course is available for UK/EU & International Students and eligible for Student Loans Company (SLC) funding to help cover the cost of your tuition fees and other expenses.

If you are an UK/EU citizen or living in the UK on an Indefinite stay, apart from the tuition fees, you could also receive support from the government via Student Loans Company to cover some living costs while studying.
