If English is not your first language, you must complete an English language test that assesses speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. We also accept a range of other English language qualifications.

Applicants will also need to attend an interview with a member of the admissions team.

Course overview

The LLB (Hons) Law with International Relations with Foundation Year is designed for students who are interested in the relationship between law, politics, diplomacy, and global affairs. The course combines a comprehensive legal education with the study of international relations, helping students understand how legal systems, governments, and international institutions influence societies and address global challenges.

The Foundation Year provides additional academic support while introducing students to key concepts in law, social sciences, communication, and research. It helps students build confidence and develop the study skills needed before progressing to degree-level modules.
Throughout the programme, students explore core areas of law alongside subjects such as international politics, human rights, diplomacy, global governance, conflict resolution, and international organisations. Fees & funding

Course fee per year: £9.535

The Tuition Fee of the course may vary depending on the institution you wish to study at, as well as your status in the UK. The course is available for UK/EU & International Students and eligible for Student Loans Company (SLC) funding to help cover the cost of your tuition fees and other expenses.

If you are an UK/EU citizen or living in the UK on an Indefinite stay, apart from the tuition fees, you could also receive support from the government via Student Loans Company to cover some living costs while studying.
