Applicants must provide proof of their highest academic qualification, which can include:

  • Level 3 Qualifications (e.g., A Levels, Level 3 NVQ, diplomas, certificates, or Access to Higher Education Diploma)
  • International Baccalaureate
  • High School Level Qualifications
  • Level 2 Qualifications or equivalent (e.g., GCSEs, Level 2 NVQ, diplomas, certificates)

 

✅English Proficiency and Admission Process

If English is not your first language, you must complete an English language test that assesses speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. We also accept a range of other English language qualifications.

Applicants will also need to attend an interview with a member of the admissions team.

Course overview

The Hospitality Management HNC prepares students for different roles within the hospitality sector. The program covers customer service excellence, hospitality operations, effective marketing strategies tailored to the hospitality industry, management principles and techniques, etc. It is all focused on getting you started in the realm of hospitality management.
Students will gain both practical and theoretical knowledge, learning how to manage teams, improve service delivery, and drive business growth in restaurants, hotels and different event spaces in general. With a focus on developing leadership and innovation, the course ensures graduates are ready to make an impact in the hospitality world. However, some graduates opt for further studies and specialisations.

Fees & funding

Course fee per year: £6.165

The Tuition Fee of the course may vary depending on the institution you wish to study at, as well as your status in the UK. The course is available for UK/EU & International Students and eligible for Student Loans Company (SLC) funding to help cover the cost of your tuition fees and other expenses.

If you are an UK/EU citizen or living in the UK on an Indefinite stay, apart from the tuition fees, you could also receive support from the government via Student Loans Company to cover some living costs while studying.
